自有议员呼吁在英国国旗上添加一条“威尔士龙”，以更准确反映国家组成后，英国《每日电讯报》举行了一场面向读者的新国旗样式征集活动。
《每日电讯报》11日报道说，经网民评选，一幅名为“戴墨镜的威尔士龙”的设计作品力拔头筹，成为最受欢迎的国旗样式。
"It represents shouting "UNION!" and joining together; kicking reason to the curb and doing the impossible; fighting the power, and piercing the heavens," he said.
作者原话:这代表高声呐喊"合体"并且联合在一起;无视常理,超越可能,挑战一切,天元突破!
